When hiring a UX Designer, identify the top candidate who displays the best combination of talent, teamwork, and positive attitude. Their skill must be accompanied by a great attitude and ability to work well with others.

You’ll want someone who is very creative and views themselves as an innovator in their field. A great UX Designer stays on top of design trends and is always applying new learning to their work. They’ll likely have a bursting portfolio of side projects and be active in design communities.

This person will need to be able to handle and apply constructive criticism as well as defend their ideas when necessary. Look for someone who is not easily offended and is open to feedback, because they’ll be getting a lot! The ideal candidate is positive and willing to make as many revisions as needed to produce the best quality work.
