Marketing Manager Introduction:

We’re looking for a personable and business savvy individual for our Marketing Manager position. You will be responsible for approving all marketing campaigns and ensuring they are successful. Your strategic thinking will be needed to create creative campaigns to enhance our sales and broadcast our brand. Success in this position will require being strategic, enjoying conversation, and creating and following budgets.

Marketing Manager Responsibilties:

In this role, you will lead our marketing team and report to the VP of Operations. Responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a brand ‘gatekeeper’ for our company
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy, and various large projects
  • Work closely with sales team to create marketing strategies that enhance sales initiatives
  • Mentoring the marketing team in terms of productivity, teamwork, and career development
  • Creating and implementing budgets as well as reports
  • Keep up-to-date on marketing trends and new strategies for increasing brand visibility
  • Manage overall social media strategy
  • Oversee traditional marketing initiatives
  • Writing press releases and delivering presentations when needed
  • Other duties as required

Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Marketing experience
  • Post-secondary education focusing on Business, Marketing, or Public Relations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with networking and public speaking
  • Strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Experience with online marketing strategies and outreach email campaigns is a must
  • Experience with SEO and Google Analytics are considered strong assets
  • An active and professional online presence (with a considerable following) is also a strong asset
