Human Resources Manager Introduction:

Human Resources Manager Responsibilties:

In this role, you will report to the Director of HR. Responsibilities will include:

  • Revising our current human resources policies and putting new versions in place as well as communicating these changes
  • Implementing new strategies to improve company efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leading recruitment processes as well as workplace planning and creating recruitment strategies
  • Managing performance management outcomes and coaching managers on these PM activities
  • Fostering a company culture that is in line with our company brand as well as mission, vision, and values.
  • Analyzing trends in the workforce, our industry, and within our business
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and support for employees and management
  • Working closely with management and leadership as a strategic HR partner
  • Other duties as required


Human Resources Manager Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources Management or related education
  • 4-6+ years of experience in an HR management role
  • CPHR designation is considered an asset
  • Leadership abilities and a desire to teach
  • Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Confidentiality and professionalism are mandatory requirements
  • Experience with HR policy development, training, and performance management are also required
