Front Office Manager Responsibilties:

This position reports to the ______________. Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Answering telephone, taking messages, and responding to any inquiries
  • Greeting clients cheerfully and professionally and going out of your way to be helpful
  • Managing calendars, meeting rooms, and appointments
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Assisting with paperwork, bookkeeping, and payroll as needed
  • Leading team of office assistants and providing performance reviews, guidance, and training as needed
  • Working closely with HR to handle any conflict resolution situations within administrative team
  • Assisting with hiring for administrative team (if/when needed)
  • Managing mailroom and mail activities
  • Coordinating with security personnel and informing them of any concerns, changes to protocols, special meetings or events
  • Communicating feedback or concerns to our office cleaners to help us maintain a pristine environment
  • Other duties as needed

Front Office Manager Qualifications:

  • Six months or more working in a busy office or relevant education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing others considered a definite asset
  • Ability to multitask
  • Teamwork is necessary for this role
