Financial Manager Introduction:

We want a strategic thinker to fill our Financial Manager position. This position is trusted to advise departments on which investments should be taken. This position requires analysis of past expenses and forecasting of future expenses to ensure the company is spending money responsibly. This position will be expected to find areas in which departments can reduce their expenses without reducing departmental efficiency.

Financial Manager Responsibilties:

You would report to the Director of Finance and play a key role in the strategies this company rolls out. Responsibilities may include:

• Analyze expenses of department to find spending trends
• Provide management with advice and strategies to reduce expenses
• Forecast future departmental expenses
• Supervising and mentoring of Finance Department team
• Develop best practices to be followed by team members
• Ensure reports are completed in a timely manner
• Management of company inventory
• Assist with financial projects as needed
• Additional projects as required

Financial Manager Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant finance management experience
• Bachelor’s degree with focus in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred
• CPA designation required
• Proficiency with finance software
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
