Contract Administrator Responsibilties:

This position reports to the __________________. Duties may include:

  • Assessing contract drafts for risk
  • Reviewing contracts for errors, and notifying team of revision needs
  • Explaining contract terms and instructions to team members
  • Making contract updates as needed
  • Drafting new or updated contracts, creating contract terms and language banks
  • Keeping accurate and organized records and making updates in our database
  • Completing research associated with contract terms, legislation, industry changes, and other areas of concern
  • Negotiating contract terms with third parties and business partners
  • Ensuring contracts are in compliance with industry standards as well as prov/state/federal legislation
  • Other duties as assigned

Contract Administrator Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field of study
  • MBA considered an asset but not required
  • 3-4 years experience in a similar role
  • Keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and focus on strategy are musts for this role
