Budget Analyst:

We are looking for a number-oriented individual to aid us with the management of our budget in our Budget Analyst position. In this role, you would analyze our budget and create reports that would be shared with all of our managers. This process is critical to the success of our business as we need to be sure that we stay within our budgets and do not overspend. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a great attention to detail and an ability to communicate complex budgets to our management team.

Budget Analyst Responsibilties:

In this position you will report to the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Analyzing current and past budgets
  • Forecasting future budgets and creating reports
  • Communicating budgets with managers
  • Following up on payments with finance
  • Creating budget templates
  • Additional projects as required

Budget Analyst Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education focusing on Economics or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Ability to create professional reports
