Accounting Supervisor:

We are looking for strong, detail-oriented leader to fill our Accounting Supervisor position. In this role, you would lead our accounting team to ensure their success and personal/professional growth. We have a great team and want them to have a mentor that can bring them to the next level. Your role would be to ensure that all reports are done accurately and that you are working with the accountants. We want someone who works through collaboration, not someone who likes to give orders. Your leadership skills and attention to detail will lead to success in this role.

Accounting Supervisor Responsibilties:

In this position you will lead the accounting team and report to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities may include the following:

• Reviewing reports filed by the accountants
• Ensure the team follows the best practices of accounting
• Ensure the professional growth of the accountants
• Act as a mentor
• Maintain records and file reports
• Additional projects as required
  
  

Accounting Supervisor Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education focusing on Commerce or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• CPA designation
• Leadership skills
• Use of accounting software (e.g. Sage)
• Attention to detail
